Barbell Club : 02/05/17


Today is the openers day for what we want to accomplish next week at the North Wales Lifting Meet. Warm up the same way you will warm up next Wednesday.  Think that you are 21 attempts out from your opening attempt.  


A. Snatch: warm up to what you want your opener to be next week.  this should be a weight you know you can lift and are confident in taking.  this attempt gets you in the ball game…..we do not want to miss this attempt…..if you think you can open with 85-90% of your best snatch….that is where you will stop todays lift.

60% x 3, 70% x 2, 80% x 1, 85% x 1, 90-93%% x 2 x 1 


B. Clean and Jerk: work up to opening attempt using the 15 attempts out situation.
